Going to view Kim Ki Duk's BAD GUY this week.

Saw WHEN FATHER WAS AWAY ON BUSINESS and BURNT BY THE SUN for a Slavic Studies class. Some pretty good stuff, although setting a film in such a politically charged age and environment can become trying. ART and POLITICS do not mix well today, and it is difficult to "go back" and filter out the tired polemic issue related fears I've accumulated...I believe this is a good thing.

YUMI IN LOVE is the film that I want to make.

I have been working on my novel, but I stepped back and took another reading of the script. It is still the one.
