Fiirst draft of YUMI IN LOVE finished July 1, 2005
First day of principal photography will be July 1, 2006

One year to make a film that takes place on one night and I want to shoot on super 16mm film.

I have written and directed two short films, written six feature length screenplays, but YUMI IN LOVE will be my first feature film as a Director. This is the thing that I've always wanted to do.

Now I have to assemble a group of highly talented individuals and explain to them why they should donate their time and energy to making this picture a reality. Since so many of these talented folk will have their own film projects in the works, I'll have to bring something pretty spectacular to the table. Luckily I have this fantastic script...

We will officially launch the website sometime this summer with print advertising, and all the parties and fundraising hoopla we can muster.

In the meantime, stay tuned, and I'll try to keep this thing updated. Come back to check in on each and every step of the INDEPENDENT filmmaking process.
